2 found dead in Middle Tennessee motel room

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police say the bodies of two people have been found in a Nashville-area motel room.

A housekeeper at the Rodeway Inn, just north of Nashville, saw the body of a man near the door when she entered a room to clean it at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, according to WSMV-TV.

Goodlettsville Police Chief Richard Pope said it appeared both victims had been shot. He said the room was in disarray.
