NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Memphis law firm and a Nashville-area health system have been honored for providing free legal services to the poor.
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz PC and Community Health Systems of Franklin were recognized by the Tennessee Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
The Memphis firm was cited for its role in creating OnlineTNJustice.org, a website that allows lawyers to provide advice and counsel via the Internet.
Community Health Systems was honored for dedicated staffing of a monthly legal advice clinic in Williamson County.
