NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A house fire has injured two people in Nashville.
A woman was taken to Vanderbilt University Hospital with second- and third-degree burns to her feet and arms.
WTVF-TV reported the fire broke out in an East Nashville neighborhood around 3:30 a.m. Monday. There were eight people in the home and all of them were outside when firefighters arrived. A second person was also burned, but was treated on the scene by medics.
Officials said three people jumped from a window to escape the flames.
The second story of the home was seriously damaged. Fire inspectors will look for the cause.
