3 to address visions of the future

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The future will be the focus at a Vanderbilt University seminar.

Three speakers talk about "Visions of the Future" during a lunchtime event Thursday at the Nashville Public Library.

Vanderbilt professor Michael Bess has done research in how technology may change lives. Mike Vandenbergh is a Vanderbilt professor of law and director of the Climate Change Research Network.

Samar Ali, international director of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, oversees TNTrade, a statewide project to boost exports from small- and medium-sized Tennessee businesses.
