NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Nashville have arrested an administrative law judge for alleged disorderly conduct at a downtown bar.
WSMV-TV first reported the arrest of 60-year-old Anthony Adgent. Police affidavits state a bartender asked Adgent to leave the bar after he became disorderly Monday night.
The police report states Adgent was told to cash out and leave the bar, argued with a barkeeper, then pushed him against a wall and struck him in the mouth with a fist.
Police said Adgent was physically removed by four people and that he also struck one of them in the face.
He was charged with two counts of assault and one of vandalism.
Administrative law judges are under the Tennessee Secretary of State's office and preside over cases involving state agencies.
