3 hurt in boat-truck accident in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A truck has jumped a curb, hit a display boat on a trailer and knocked it onto three people at a Nashville shopping mall.

All three were hurt, one critically, in the accident around 12:15 p.m. Friday outside Bass Pro Shops at the Opry Mills mall northeast of downtown. Witnesses said the boat was parked next to a door and was knocked from the trailer.

According to WKRN-TV, the retailer was celebrating its spring fishing classic at stores nationwide.

Police were investigating.
