4-H lodge in Greeneville to open officially

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A 4-H lodge in Greeneville will open officially on Tuesday.

The 13,000-square-foot, two-level facility was built with a donation of more than $1 million from generous supporters who wish to remain anonymous. It has already been used during the past few months, but this will mark the official opening.

Several University of Tennessee officials are scheduled to speak. 4-H is the youth development program for the University of Tennessee Extension.

The lodge will be used for summer camps but is also available any time of year for corporate retreats and other gatherings.
