4 indicted, 2 caught in beating death of man

WINCHESTER, Tenn. (AP) -- Franklin County authorities say they have arrested two suspects in the beating death of a man near Cowan and are searching for two others.

WTVF-TV reported Franklin County officials announced Tuesday that four Coffee County men targeted 26-year-old Corey Matthews due to his affiliation with white supremacist organization Aryan Nations.

Investigators said at least one of the suspects is a member of another white supremacist organization called Aryan Brotherhood.

Matthews' body was found in a cornfield on March 24, hours after his family reported him missing.

Thirty-nine-year-old Todd Dalton and 26-year-old John Cory Lanier were arrested and are being held without bond. Authorities are still seeking 25-year-old Coty Keith Holmes and 46-year-old David Gordon Jenkins.

All four men were indicted on charges of first-degree murder and felony murder.
