KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) -- Police are investigating after a 4-year-old boy died in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
The Times-News cited Kingsport police in reporting that the child was playing around the parked vehicle and somehow dislodged it. Police say the ATV began rolling down a slope and hit the child, pinning him to a nearby home.
Police said the child suffered fatal injuries.
No charges were filed Tuesday in connection to the accident, and no names were released.
An investigation into the death continues.
