NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Nashville say a 4-year-old girl has died after being found at the bottom of a swimming pool.
Police were called to the home in the Antioch neighborhood on Saturday evening where Keisha Jordan was discovered at the bottom of a pool in about six feet of water. WKRN-TV reports (http://bit.ly/KWuKs2 ) she died Sunday at Vanderbilt's children hospital.
Metro Police Capt. Ken Walburn said that there were adults at the house where the girl was swimming, but officers were told that the girl apparently removed her arm floats while in the pool.
Youth Services detectives said the drowning appears to be an accident.
