Knoxville nursing in compliance, order lifted

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Department of Health has lifted a suspension of new patient admissions at a Knoxville nursing home.

Officials had announced March 4 they had sanctioned Hillcrest West nursing home after inspectors found violations of performance improvement and nursing services standards.

The department said Tuesday that Hillcrest had corrected deficient practices .

The nursing home is licensed for 194 patients.
