Spc. Frederick Greene, 29, of Mountain City, Tenn., was assigned to the 16th Signal Company, Fort Hood, Texas.
MOUNTAIN CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Services for East Tennessee's Fort Hood victim, Specialist Frederick Greene, will be next week.
A special procession will meet his body when it arrives at the Tri-Cities airport Sunday.
His funeral on Tuesday is private. But, Specialist Greene's family will receive friends afterward from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hux Lipford Teague Funeral Home in his hometown, Mountain City.
Specialist Greene will be laid to rest with full military honors, at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the cemetery of Bakers Gap Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife Christie, daughters - Haley and Allison, a brother, his parents, and one set of grandparents.
Specialist Fred Greene was 29-years-old.
