MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WVLT/AP) -- If you are headed to, or are in Memphis for Elvis Presley celebrations, remember to watch out for the heat.
With unseasonable high temperatures, Memphis has set up a hotline that people can call for help.
The number is 545-HEAT. That area 901-545-4328.
Seven of the eight known heat-related deaths in Tennessee have occurred in the Memphis area.
Yesterday's high in the city was 106 degrees, which broke the old record for the date by 3 degrees.
The forecast for today is for more of the same with a slight break in temperates and a slim chance of rain for the weekend.
