MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Shelby County Sheriff's deputies have charged a couple with growing marijuana in their children's bedrooms.
A release from the department stated 46-year-old Mark Tucker and 41-year-old Debra Tucker were arrested on drug and child endangerment charges.
A neighbor called police on Tuesday when the person saw the Tuckers' 2-year-old son playing in the street alone.
The neighbor took the boy to his parents' house and then called the sheriff's office about living conditions there.
Deputies found 29 marijuana plants growing on desks and inside closets in the bedrooms of the couple's three children. Marijuana was also found in a freezer.
The 2-year-old, his 14-year-old brother and their 11-year-old sister were placed in protective custody.
