Mom, 3 kids had moved to Ariz. recently

(WVLT) -- A family friend says a Tennessee woman and her three children who have gone missing had recently moved to Arizona.

Linda Kirkland is a cook at the Country Cafe in Whiteville, Tenn. Kirkland said Sunday that Jo Ann Bain and her three daughters had recently moved to Arizona because the two youngest girls had asthma.

Kirkland says the family had recently returned to Tennessee to take care of some business after a death in the family.

Bain's daughters are 14-year-old Adrienne, 12-year-old Alexandria and 8-year-old Kyliyah. Authorities say they are believed to have been abducted by 35-year-old Adam Mayes. He is charged with kidnapping in Tennessee.

The FBI has said two bodies were found at a home connected to Mayes in Mississippi, but agents have released few other details. Investigators found two bodies during the search for three West Tennessee girls who have been missing since last month.

FBI officials haven't released the victims' identities or cause of death.

Authorities believe Mayes has changed his appearance. Warrants for kidnapping are being issued for Mayes along with an additional warrant on file for false report with full extradition and is believed to be carrying a firearm.

Adam was last seen in Guntown, Mississippi on Tuesday May 1, 2012. They may be en route to Arizona or Mississippi. Adam has connections to Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.

Authorities said the children may be in extreme danger. Mayes has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted List.
