Knoxville, TN (WVLT) - Today, a Federal Appeals Court in Cincinnati will hear arguments in the case of a Tennessee school student who claims he could not read and discuss Bible passages during recess.
The case was brought by Samuel and Tina Whitson on behalf of their son, Luke.
The parents say their child's rights were violated when he was told to stop.
A jury in Knoxville ruled in favor of Knox County Schools.
