NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Storms that rocked Tennessee produced at least one tornado.
A storm assessment team from the National Weather Service office in Nashville confirmed on Thursday that a tornado caused damage near Watertown in Wilson County, east of Nashville. A final report later will assign an intensity value to Wednesday's twister.
A team from the same office was also inspecting damage in White County, near Sparta, about 40 miles farther east.
Forecasters from the Morristown NWS office were set to look at storm damage near Greenback in East Tennessee Thursday afternoon.
