ROSEDALE, Miss. (AP) -- Bolivar County Sheriff Kelvin Williams says a body found over the weekend in the Mississippi River near Rosedale has been linked to a mental institution in Tennessee.
Williams tells WABG-TV that a fisherman found the body Saturday. Williams says the man's body only had on shoes and socks and a wristband from a mental institution in Shelby County.
Williams says the wristband has a photo and the name Samuel Brooks. It shows Brooks was 36 years old.
Williams says investigators are trying to find Brooks' relatives.
He says an autopsy is being conducted.
