FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) -- Battle of Franklin Trust officials say they have discovered 30 previously unknown, turn-of-the-century photographs.
The trust's Eric Jacobson said the photos are of the Franklin battlefield, the Carter House and the Confederate Cemetery. Most were taken in 1904, but several are from 1899.
The Tennessean reports the photos were discovered in a house in Ohio years ago but were stored away.
A few of the images have been posted already on the Carter House Facebook page. The Battle of Franklin Trust is planning a public forum to allow the rest to be viewed in early 2013.
