NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- "Christmas at Belmont" will air this week on Public Broadcasting Service stations, giving nationwide exposure to the Nashville university.
Country singer and Broadway performer Laura Bell Bundy will host the show, which will include about 700 Belmont University student musicians, Belmont School of Music faculty and the Nashville Children's Choir. They will perform traditional carols, classical masterworks, world music and light-hearted seasonal favorites.
The show was taped at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
The program will air at various times in local markets beginning Thursday.
