Best of the Blue Ridge quilters' work being shown

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Quilts created for the annual Blue Ridge Quilters' Guild Challenge Show are being displayed at East Tennessee State University.

The work of more than 30 quilters can be seen at ETSU's Reece Museum through Sept. 13. The exhibit is free.

The exhibit highlights use of the "Floral Burst Duck Egg" fabric that was selected for this year's challenge

The museum is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursdays until 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Group tours are also available.
