Big Bake Sale benefits Ronald McDonald House

Cookies, cakes and candy helped collect $3500 in the first bake sale by the Sisters of the Skillet to benefit the Ronald McDonald House .

Jennifer Alexander of B97.5 and Mary Constantine of the News Sentinel organized the "East Tennessee's Biggest Bake Sale 2012."

From 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Knoxville at 6800 Baum Drive, Knoxville ,TN 37919 people could sample or buy goodies.

Many bakers, cooks, caterers donated sweets, including WVLT's Michele Silva.

Admission cost two dollars, and another five dollars for samples.
