MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- State investigators say the body of a Stanton man has been found in a West Tennessee cotton field.
In a news release, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that the human remains found off U.S. Highway 64 in Fayette County were that of 54-year-old David Seymore.
The TBI says the body was found badly decomposed, near a car. The remains were taken to the medical examiner's office in Memphis, where they were identified. A cause of death has not been released.
WMC-TV reports that Seymore had been reported missing after leaving his job complaining of chest pains.
