JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- One person has been killed in a house fire in Johnson City.
According to the Johnson City Press, the alarm came in just before 1 a.m. Friday and the first crew that arrived found heavy flames in the living room of the house in the northern part of the city.
In searching the home, firefighters discovered the body in the kitchen, which is believed to be where the fire started.
The name of the victim was not immediately released, pending family members being told.
