BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a bounty hunter was shot and killed while on the job in Tennessee.
According to the Bristol Herald Courier, witnesses say the bounty hunter, 32-year-old Joshua Scott Horne of Bristol, ran up to his target, aimed his pistol and yelled that the suspect was under arrest on Friday.
Bristol police say the two men struggled over the weapon and multiple shots were fired.
Police say they're still piecing together the struggle and will let the local district attorney's office decide whether to file charges. Investigators have not named the second person involved in the shooting.
Police reported that one bullet grazed Horne's target just under his right eye. The man was treated at a local hospital and released.
