MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- A 10-year-old Memphis boy says he is nervous about testifying in the case of a gunman who sprayed his neighborhood with gunfire, wounding the boy's older brother and a man.

But the boy told The Commercial Appeal (http://bit.ly/S8aqff ) he is willing to take the stand because it's for his brother. After sitting outside a Shelby County courtroom for hours on Wednesday, the boy was taken back home because the lawyer for the teen accused in the shooting said he needed more time to bring witnesses to court.

The young boy's mother worries about his safety and said her son is still traumatized.

The defendant has been convicted in juvenile court, but is seeking a new trial.
