BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) -- An East Tennessee woman is dead after her residence caught on fire.
WJHL-TV reports rescue crews were called to a home in Bristol early Wednesday and a first responder reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming out of a bedroom window.
Firefighters say the body of 66-year-old Eulala Matthews was found in the hallway of the home.
Her cause of death and the cause of the blaze are under investigation.
