CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Two police officers in Chattanooga are recovering after crashing into each other while trying to catch a speeding motorist.
Police told WDEF-TV that an officer clocked a car going about 20 miles over the speed limit and attempted to make a U-turn to catch up and stop the car. However, the officer ended up crashing into another officer that was also trying to catch the speeder.
The station reports both officers are doing better, but the speeding motorist got away.
