Child Health Week focuses on community impact

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Knox County Health Department and Community Partners are holding Child Health Week events.

The KCHD and the TENNderCare Programs along with their partners have planned activities during the week to highlight the theme "A Healthy Tennessee Begins with A Healthy Me" and raise public awareness about the different ways the community impacts child health.

Monday is the "I Am Being Healthy-Storytime," with the Knox County Library. Preschool age children will learn to be healthy through storytelling and activities. Children attending storytelling time will receive a goody bag. The Library is also providing child health-related reading list bookmarks.
