KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- The Knoxville Area chapter of the American Red Cross continues to help East Tennessee storm victims.
In Monroe County, the damage assessment is ongoing.
In Knox County, two volunteers continue their look into the impact of the storm's damage. Also residents dealing with extended power outages are getting supplies like food, water and other essentials from the organization.
At one point, 85 people stayed at a Red Cross shelter in Jefferson County.
Three shelters were open at one point in Grainger County.
Families in Scott County are also getting help.
The organization has also sent four volunteers to help out in the Chattanooga area.
