Custom machinery maker expanding in Tipton County

COVINGTON, Tenn. (AP) -- State business development officials say a custom machinery manufacturer is expanding its Tipton County facility and adding 25 jobs.

Tennessee's Department of Economic and Community Development said Wednesday that Rose Fabricating & Industrial Solutions is investing $4.5 million to expand its facility in Covington.

Rose makes carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum structural welded units, along with custom process equipment. Formerly known as Rose Iron Works, the company has extensive experience in building custom machinery for other companies and has deep ties to the community.

The jobs being added are in sales and manufacturing.

Allan M. Rose, the company's president and general manager, says it is a family business that values personal relationships with employees and clients.
