NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- UWT Logistics, a company that handles warehousing and product distribution for clients, is expanding its operation in Memphis.
Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said Thursday the $4.8 million expansion will add 81 full-time jobs.
UWT Logistics helps manufacturers and retail distributors with the storage, control and transportation flow of products.
Memphis Mayor A C Wharton called the decision another significant step in providing jobs to strengthen the local economy.
