DRESDEN, Tenn. (AP) -- Dresden police have identified the victim in a Sunday slaying as 44-year-old Lori Williams.
Mayor Danny Forrester told The Jackson Sun that Williams was found in her apartment. Police believe she was shot at around 9 p.m. Sunday.
The Dresden Police Department is searching for a person of interest. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is aiding in the investigation.
Williams' body has been sent for an autopsy.
