Driver killed when pickup hits shop, burns

WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities in White House say the driver of a pickup truck died when he struck an antique shop and severed a gas line.

The fiery crash occurred Tuesday night.

WTVF-TV reported the utility company had to dig a hole in the lawn to find the line and shut it off.

The driver's name wasn't immediately released. No one was in the Stone Cottage Antique Shop when the crash occurred.
