KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) -- An inmate who escaped from a Kentucky prison more than two years ago has been caught in Kingsport, Tenn.
The Kingsport Times-News reported the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended 29-year-old Brandon Saylor on Wednesday evening as he tried to run from officers.
Saylor escaped from the Kentucky Department of Corrections Marion Adjustment Center near Lebanon, Ky., in March 2011.
The Marshals Service said he now also faces in a Washington County burglary.
Sheriff Ed Graybeal, whose deputies took part in the capture of Saylor, said $18,000 in goods was taken from a local home, including guns.
