MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Shelby County Sheriff Bill Oldham has asked the FBI to review a department investigation into a jail inmate's death.
Before dawn on Wednesday, jailers found 49-year-old Dominic Angelici hanged by a bedsheet in a cell. Angelici had been booked into the jail two days earlier on a DUI charge and jail officials said he was alone in his cell. A court appearance had been set for him later Wednesday.
