Father, young son reported missing in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Memphis say a man and his young son are missing.

Carlos Maxwell, who is 32, was last seen at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, when he dropped off the person who filed the missing person report, at St. Francis Hospital. Maxwell had his 9-month-old son, Keymeil Maxwell, with him.

The complainant told police Carlos Maxwell was last heard from about 5 p.m., when he said he had car trouble and the phone cut off.

Maxwell was driving a green 1994 Ford Explorer with Tennessee license tag C5681W.
