Fire damages South Knoxville home

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - It took just seven minutes for a Knoxville firefighters to get an early Thursday morning house fire under control.

It broke out around 3:30am at a home on Ingersoll Ave., off Martin Mill Pike.

Fire crews say they arrived to find flames coming from the top of the roof.

they say the house is abandoned and no injuries have been reported.
