ONLY, Tenn. (AP) -- Officials say a fire broke out in the administration building of a western Tennessee prison, but inmates were not affected.
The fire at the Turney Center Industrial Complex Sunday morning brought several firefighting units to the medium security prison in Hickman County.
WSMV-TV in Nashville reports (http://bit.ly/Zdp8Fg ) the blaze started around 8:30 a.m.
Department of Corrections spokeswoman Dorinda Carter says the fire is not affecting housing units where inmates are kept, but visitation has been postponed. Carter says the fire appears to be from an electrical problem.
The Turney Center offers educational, vocational and substance abuse programs
