CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A former technician at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga has been charged with raping a patient in an X-ray room.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press reported that 25-year-old Franklin Concepcion, of Ringgold, Ga., was charged with the rape that occurred in November and was in court Friday on a $150,000 bond.

An arrest report said the woman told Chattanooga police that she was taken into an X-ray room by a technician and sexually assaulted. The arrest report said evidence was collected from the room and matched to a DNA sample from Concepcion.

Erlanger officials suspended Concepcion without pay after the incident was reported.
