CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- The campaign of Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich has botched the name of a Chattanooga landmark on a fundraiser invitation.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press got a copy of the invite on Thursday in which recipients are invited to the "Chattahoochee Choo Choo Hotel".

The VIP Roundtable event is by invitation only and says the $1,000-per-person event will be in the Crystal Room.

The famed hotel is, of course, the Chattanooga Choo Choo, named after the Glenn Miller hit of the 1940s.

Susan Meyers, Southeast communications coordinator for the Georgia Republican's campaign, said the Chattanooga Choo Choo is one of Gingrich's favorite spots in the South.
