Gingrich holds rallies across East Tennessee today

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is rallies across East Tennessee Monday.

The former Speaker of the House will first address the GOP Women's Luncheon at the East Tennessee Republican Women's Club in Kingsport at 1 p.m.

After the luncheon, Gingrich is holding a rally at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education at 1:40 p.m.

Gingrich then will hold a rally at the Airport Hilton in Alcoa at 4 p.m. Local 8 News Reporter John Treanor will be there to talk to the candidate.

Gingrich's last stop will be a rally in Chattanooga at TAC Air Co. Hangar #2 at 7 p.m.

    In the last Presidential election, I saw on the Internet where Newt Gingrich's sister had come out against him, and was working for the Democrat party. I think it would be interesting if some neutral party would contact her and get the details of that straight from the "horse's mouth".
