CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Due to hazardous travel conditions from the winter storm, Gov.-elect Bill Haslam has canceled his pre-inaugural events in Chattanooga.
Haslam spokesman David Smith said inclement weather forced cancellation of the scheduled Chattanooga events on Tuesday that included a tour of a community kitchen for the homeless and a regional celebration at the Tennessee Aquarium.
Haslam's pre-inaugural schedule, which included events Monday in Kingsport, continues Wednesday in Jackson and Memphis.
