NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A medical helicopter had to make an emergency landing at a Nashville college campus.
The pilot told WKRN-TV a gust of wind blew the helicopter off course during the final approach to the St. Thomas Hospital on the city's west side, just before 11 a.m. on Monday.
The pilot landed without incident on the property of Aquinas College, about a block away from the hospital. The patient was taken the rest of the way by ambulance.
No one was injured and the helicopter was not damaged.
