MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Housing authorities in Memphis say quality homes that are new or recently renovated are available.
The city is hosting a homeownership housing expo Saturday at the Raleigh Springs Mall. At the expo, participants have the chance to review spacious homes that are located near schools, retail outlets, community centers and parks.
The event is part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Homeownership month. Saturday's event is sponsored by the city's Division of Housing and Community Development, which lists preserving neighborhoods and stabilizing communities as goals.
