NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- An honor flight for World War II veterans is planned for Wednesday.
According to a news release, about 90 Tennessee veterans will travel roundtrip for free on US Airways and spend the day in Washington, D.C. The veterans will visit the World War II Memorial and other memorials in the city.
This is will be the sixth and final honor flight coordinated by Music City Honor Flight. That's a Nashville organization established to honor Tennessee's World War II veterans.
