House and Sentate to vote on tax cut extension

WASHINGTON (AP) - The House and Senate are expected to vote today on a deal to extend the payroll tax cut through the end of the year.

The tax break will continue to save 160 million Americans about 20 dollars a week if it's approved.

President Barack Obama praised Congress for striking a deal and promised to sign the extension immediately when passed.

The extension is set to run out at the end of this month.
