NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- This is not the week in Nashville to stay on the sofa while feasting on a bucket of fried chicken.
It's "NashVitality Week," in which Nashvillians are encouraged to make their own healthy, active and green resolutions for 2012.
The Metro Public Health Department is sponsoring several workshops through Thursday on assessing health, healthy eating, active living and youth volunteerism.
In past months, Nashvillians were encouraged to walk 100 miles or complete a 5K run.
