Jackson's Hermitage dedicating portrait Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A recently donated portrait will be dedicated Saturday at The Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson.

The portrait of Elizabeth Martin Jefferson Donelson has been given to the home by Lewis Donelson III of Memphis, her great-grandson.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., will speak at the dedication.

Elizabeth Donelson, who died in 1871, was the great-niece of Rachel Jackson, Jackson's wife. She also was the widow of Meriwether Lewis Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson's grandson.
