NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- President Andrew Jackson's 245th birthday will be celebrated Thursday at Nashville's Hermitage, where he lived and is buried.
A wreath will be laid at his tomb. There will be music, speakers and various programs throughout the day. The Tennessee Army National Guard color guard will participate.
Jackson, hero of the War of 1812, was president from 1829 to 1837. He died in 1845.
